Danny Haynes was once again the derby day hero, first creating an own goal for Norwich defender Alex Pearce, then scoring the second himself as Town defeated the Canaries 2-1 at Portman Road. The Blues deserved to win much more comfortably, having dominated after Ched Evans had put the visitors ahead in the fourth minute.

Jim Magilton's men were again below par and had gone behind to a Gavin Rae goal. Late on, the Blues looked to have grabbed a winner but Danny Haynes's effort was ruled out for a push by Tommy Miller.
